Senator Isaiah Balat, a former Minister of State for Works and Housing during the first term of President Olusegun Obasanjo, has died.A source who wished to remain anonymous confirmed the transition of Balat, who served as a Senator from 2003 to 2007, but was until his death an aide for Special Duties to Vice President Namadi Sambo.
